Venus Swimwear to use dynamic imaging for personalized web campaigns

Venus Swimwear, a direct marketer of junior swimwear, says it will use dynamic imaging from Scene7 Inc. to launch personalized campaigns online, as well as in print. The Jacksonville, FL-based company, which recently licensed in Scene7 technology, will incorporate the dynamic imaging platform into its web site later this year to help drive sales. The platform allows repurposing of high-resolution digital images for use in a variety of formats including web sites, print outlets, partner extranets and other outlets.

Venus Swimwear estimates it’s already cut 75% of its former cost in producing a billboard campaign by using the platform to repurpose existing photos rather than setting up dedicated photo shoots for billboard images. It’s the first company to apply Scene7 technology for use in large billboard displays in the print arena.

The technology, says Venus Swimwear CEO Daryle Scott, generated all billboard photography from shots already on hand. “Now we have improved flexibility in matching up the right product image with the best photo presentation,” says Scott. “It meets our high quality standards for both web and print imagery.”
