Italy, Spain growing faster than UK in e-commerce

The United Kingdom is the leader in European e-commerce, with sales dwarfing those of its neighbors—and it’s projected to keep its lofty position for years to come, Forrester Research says in a new series of “eCommerce Forecast” reports. But Forrester projects e-commerce sales in Italy and Spain to increase at faster cumulative annual growth rates of 31% and 27%, respectively, from 2006 to 2011, compared to 12% for the UK.
