Reebok launches a new e-commerce site
Reebok International Ltd. Is launching a new e-commerce site for the U.S. Hispanic market. To appeal to male Hispanics, Reebock, No. 243 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites, is launching Barriorbk.com.
In addition to highlighting the latest Reebok products such as the Pump Wrapshear running shoe, Reebok has also partnered with Sony Corp. to launch RBK Radio, a digital media program where users can listen to 200 free Latin and other music tracks. Site visitors can also download a Sony Connector player, vote for their favorite songs and help determine an ongoing Barrio RBK top 10 hits list.
“Barrio Rbk is an innovative, online environment that allows Reebok to connect with the ever-expanding Latino youth audience," says Marc Fireman, Reebok`s global director of advertising and integrated marketing. "We`re offering a new, culturally connected destination for consumers."
The new site, which offers a digital music mixer that lets visitors mix their own hip hop and Reggaeton beats and access to the Reebok online store was built with a rich media and customer-oriented digital experience in mind, Fireman says.
