Fortunoff appoints a new chief marketing officer
Fortunoff has hired a former Zale Corp. executive to be its new chief marketing officer.
The retailer has named Bernard Sensale, most recently senior vice president of marketing at Zale, to head up all of its traditional and online marketing. He will report to Fortunoff CEO Arnie Orlick.
Prior to joining Fortunoff, No. 270 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, Sensale headed up all marketing at Zale, including e-commerce. He joined Zale in 1995 as vice president of marketing and merchandise planning for the Bailey Banks & Biddle division and integrated the Piercing Pagoda brand into the company. Prior to joining Zale, he was vice president, general merchandise manager for Ames Department Stores and held various merchandising positions at Caldor’s and Macy’s.
