IPO Off for American Greetings.com

American Greetings says it is withdrawing its application for an initial public offering of a minority interest in its Internet division, AmericanGreetings.com "due to changing financial market conditions." The company is the world's largest publicly held creator, manufacturer and distributor of greeting cards and related products. It announced plans for an IPO of its Web unit last fall.
