Truition names Bill Wignall as president and CEO

Bill Wignall has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Truition Inc., which provides on-demand e-commerce solutions for retailers and manufacturers. Wignall, an industry veteran, served previously as president and CEO of software vendor Electronics WorkBench.

“Bill has senior-level experience across almost all functional disciplines of an organization,” said Robert McQuade, chief financial officer for Truition. “He has held leadership positions in companies of all sizes and has worked around the globe. We feel very fortunate to have an executive of his pedigree leading Truition through its next phase of growth.”

At Electronics WorkBench, Wignall was instrumental in turning the company around, increasing revenue and brokering the company’s sale to National Instruments, a graphical systems design vendor. Previously, he held leadership positions as Broadband Networks. Telezone and Northern Telecom.

In his new position, Wignall will be responsible for setting Truition’s global strategic direction, overseeing all day-to-day operations and driving new growth for the company.
