Interwoven Appoints New VP of Asia Pacific Operations

James Murray to Spearhead Interwoven’s Leadership in Growing Asia Pacific ECM Market

SUNNYVALE, Calif – February 14, 2005 – Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for business, today announced the appointment of James Murray to the position of vice president for Interwoven’s Asia Pacific operations. Murray brings a wealth of experience to the position with 15 years in the technology industry, including serving as the vice president of sales for Interwoven’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In his new position, Murray will oversee a strong management team with the goal of further accelerating Interwoven’s leadership in the Asia Pacific ECM market.

Murray joined Interwoven in 1999 and was part of the original team that spearheaded the company’s operations in Europe. In this capacity, Murray was responsible for adding a number of leading companies to Interwoven’s customer roster including British Airways, BT, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, and AXA. Prior to joining Interwoven, Murray held senior business development positions at respected software companies including Comshare and JDA, as well as serving in IT consulting and business process outsourcing roles within the financial services division at Accenture.
