GiftCertificates.com has named Jeff Byal as chief financial officer. He will oversee financial, legal and human resources for GiftCertificates.com, an e-commerce provider of gift certificates to consumers and a provider of incentive services to businesses.
Byal most recently was chief financial officer at Gordmans Inc., a Midwest department store chain. He also has served as the CFO at two Kentucky-based companies: technology company Appriss Inc. and PriceWeber Marketing Communications Inc., an advertising and marketing communications agency.
"Jeff has a successful background leading and managing growth organizations within the retail, technology and services industries, all of which will have an immediate and positive impact on our business," said Timothy Barefield, chief executive officer, GiftCertificates.com.
