Online sales up 14% for week ending Nov. 20

Online sales for the week ending Nov. 20 grew 14%, reaching $1.94 billion from $1.7 billion in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.

By comparison, average weekly retail sales in November were up 1.2% from November last year, according to ShopperTrak RCT Corp.’s National Retail Sales Estimate.

Online travel sales for week ending Nov. 20 were up 11% to $1.03 billion from $929 million in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore reports.
