WebSideStory and Atomz team on analytics and site search
Analytics provider WebSideStory Inc. and Atomz, which provides content management software as a hosted service, have teamed to offer an end-to-end package that delivers web site search, content management and web analytics. Under the alliance, the companies will integrate their products and cooperate on joint marketing projects.
WebSideStory’s HitBox analytics will extend Atomz` search reporting capabilities to campaign ROI tracking, updated merchandising reports, funnel analytics, visitor segmentation and more. Atomz will integrate HitBox intelligence into its content management systems, providing its customers with a real-time view of online visitor behavior. “Increasingly, our customers are asking for services that help maximize the usability, responsiveness and profitability of their web sites, says Steve Kusmer, Atomz CEO.
The combined offering already has generated results for e-retailers. “HitBox analytics showed us those visitors using site search were four times more likely to convert into customers.
