LEXINGTON, Mass., March 14, 2005--e-Dialog, a proven provider of advanced e-mail marketing solutions, today announced it has joined the IronPort Bonded Sender(TM) Program, the world`s leading e-mail accreditation service. The IronPort Bonded Sender Program ensures that legitimate messages are not caught in spam filters. Certified Bonded Senders must adhere to industry best practices and must be certified by TRUSTe, an independent, non-profit online privacy organization. More than 34,000 Internet Service Providers (ISPs), universities and organizations, including Hotmail, MSN, and Road Runner, use Bonded Sender to help manage e-mail.
"We are doing all we can to insure our clients conform to a clear set of standards and best practices that will increase their e-mail delivery rates and help build their reputations as responsible e-mail marketers," said Rick Buck, Director of Privacy/ISP Relations of e-Dialog. "The Bonded Sender Program enables us to offer this value-added service that not only differentiates our offering, but also helps clients reduce costly false positives and increases the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns."
e-Dialog will now offer the Bonded Sender Program as a service to its clients in which the company advises them on e-mail best practices and certifies those wishing to join the program. The clients will post a bond that guarantees all messages they send are from the registered IP addresses. E-mail messages from the approved client-specific IP addresses are routed past spam filters to ensure that legitimate e-mail reaches more than 240 million mailboxes. Should end-users complain about the e-mail messages they receive from a certified Bonded Sender, a debit is made against the bond. Senders are allowed minimal complaints.
"To solve both the problems of spam and false positives for recipients and senders, it is critical that leading e-mail service providers like e-Dialog leverage the Bonded Sender Program," said Ambika Gadre, Director, Program Management for Information Services at IronPort Systems. "Participating in the program is a very cost effective way for e-Dialog to improve message delivery rates and e-mail marketing ROI on behalf of its clients."
