
Nordstrom.com Leaps for Mankind
Nordstrom.com, Seattle, has made two major expansions into the online men's clothing market, launching a business casual guide and and a new men's catalog on its site. The guide offers help choosing outfits for work and lifestyle needs. The department store operator says it expects to generate significant revenue from the online men's clothing market, though it did not provide projections. But Nordstrom cites a forecast from Forrester Research, Cambridge, Mass., that the online men's apparel market will generate sales of $6.4 billion by 2003.
