PayPal has launched a Spanish-language site in Spain with information customized for Spanish PayPal account holders. The site enables payments in euros, the common currency in Spain.
PayPal.es also is integrated into eBay Spain, making it easier for Spaniards to buy and sell with the 72 million eBay and PayPal account holders in 45 countries, the company said.
The Spanish site joins a growing list of international sites, including the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Australia. Those sites enable payments in U.S. dollars, Canadian dollars, pounds sterling, euros, Japanese yen and Australian dollars.
