Coremetrics Taps 16-Year Software Industry Veteran for Top Technology Position
Hamid Bahadori brings proven track record of creating successful products for technology leaders such as Actuate, Envive, Oracle and Sun Microsystems to new role as Coremetrics vice president of engineering
San Mateo, Calif. - March 23, 2005 - Coremetrics, the leading provider of hosted Web analytics and precision marketing solutions, today announced that Hamid Bahadori has joined Coremetrics as vice president of engineering. Bahadori brings 16 years of software engineering experience with Actuate Corp., Envive Corp., Oracle, Sun Microsystems and NASA Jet Propulsion Lab to the Coremetrics executive team. Bahadori assumes primary responsibility for Coremetrics` award-winning technology platform, including the design and development of new applications designed to help companies improve e-business performance.

Bahadori has defined and implemented world-class products and strategies across a broad range of traditional and hosted software technologies. Prior to Coremetrics, he served as senior vice president of engineering at Actuate, Inc., where he built and led the entire engineering organization and had primary responsibility for the product set, direction and vision. While at Actuate, Bahadori played a key role in helping the company grow revenues five-fold through the delivery of top-quality, scalable products matching customer expectations.
Before Actuate, Bahadori was vice president of engineering at Envive where he led all engineering operations, including the strategic development of technology, product and business partnerships with such industry leaders as Hewlett Packard, Oracle and SAP. Bahadori has also held a senior development position at Oracle, as well as technical positions at Sun Microsystems and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Most recently, he co-founded and led software services provider Kooh10 Technology. Bahadori holds a doctorate degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
