Hilton re-launches its e-commerce site with ties to TV marketing
As a way to extend its brand experience with consumers, Hilton Hotels has re-launched the retail e-commerce site HiltonToHome.com with products such as Hilton Serenity Bed Collection linens cross-promoted in TV marketing programs.
The Hilton Serenity linens, for instance, are promoted online under the tag line “As Seen on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” referring to Hilton’s sponsorship of the ABC TV program. Hilton also sponsored the recent Grammy Awards TV broadcast, and visitors to HiltonToHome.com can purchase the “Grammy 2007 Nominees” CD. Other products available online include Crabtree & Evelyn’s La Source bath products, Cuisinart coffee makers and the Hilton Family Exclusive clock radio.
For those who just want to order some extra towels or pillows or in-room snacks for a planned hotel visit, Hilton offers HiltonJourneys.com.
