Humax USA selects Channel Intelligence to improve selling opportunities and optimize e-commerce tracking abilities

Digital set-top box and consumer electronics manufacturer HUMAX USA heightens brand awareness, promotes and sells more products online through use of SellPath(SM) Services

Orlando, Fla. – March 30, 2005 – Humax, a leading manufacturer of digital satellite set-top boxes, has selected Channel Intelligence to help optimize its online shopping experience for the company’s popular TiVo® based Digital Video Recorders and DVD recorders.

Seeking to broaden its brand awareness among savvy consumer electronics and home entertainment enthusiasts, Humax has implemented SellPath(SM) Product Links services to enhance selling opportunities for Humax digital video recorder (DVR) products among an increasing number of online consumers who research and buy products via the Internet.

SellPath(SM) Product Links services direct online consumers through the buying process from the manufacturer’s Web page where consumers research the products they wish to buy, to the specific product pages at online retailers and resellers where those products are readily available for purchase. Retail partners include Abt Electronics.com, Amazon.com, Best Buy.com, Circuit City Direct, Electronic Express.com, GoodGuys.com, JR.com, and TiVo.com.

For instance, an online consumer interested in purchasing a Humax DRT800 DVD Recorder with TiVo® may find the product at the Humax USA Web site (www.humaxusa.com) and with one click may be linked to a host of retailers and resellers that list the stock-status of that product. If it’s in stock, the consumer can make an immediate purchase online.

“Channel Intelligence leads consumers through the buying process to find our products at a number of online retailers,” said Tony Goncalves, vice president of business development and strategic marketing at Humax USA. “This excellent tool not only provides consumers with an easy way to find our products but also allows Humax to deliver extremely qualified leads to our many retail partners.”
