Mark Ferguson, ex SAP employee, named head of retail sales at Conchango
Ferguson’s appointment strengthens Conchango’s focus on the retail market
LONDON – March 30, 2005 -- Conchango, the business and technology consultancy, has announced the appointment of Mark Ferguson, 43, as head of retail sales. His aim will be to grow Conchango’s brand and drive sales in the retail sector.
Based in the UK, Ferguson’s mission will be to help retailers increase sales and reduce costs through efficient business processes and improved use of technology. His experience, coming from SAP’s retail division, will be a key asset in helping Conchango focus on the business and operational needs of its clients.
“The market is challenging for many retailers, and now is the time to find efficiencies across the supply chain, and make best use of every asset to grow sales in all channels,” said Ferguson. “Retailers need to be creative in their use of IT solutions to enable their business to respond more effectively to the needs of their customers. Conchango has a great track record in helping them do just that.”
Ferguson arrives at Conchango with more than 20 years experience in various sales and marketing roles. Prior to joining Conchango, he played a key role in SAP’s retail division, and has held senior positions at Retek, Siemens, and BT.
