RETURN PATH LAUNCHES NEW EMAIL DELIVERABILITY ANALYSIS TOOLS
Market leading solution expands tools from monitoring to blocking & filtering diagnostics, substantially increasing delivery rates for clients
New York, New York (April 4, 2004) -- Return Path, the email performance management company, today announced the expansion of its Delivery Assurance Solutions with the launch of three new email delivery analysis tools to help its clients increase the amount of email successfully delivered to the inbox. The advanced tools are the only available that monitor complaints, delivery logs for more than 1,000 domains, and email infrastructure.
“The delivery tools offered in the market today focus primarily on identifying the amount of email that makes it to the inbox or past corporate spam filters,” says George Bilbrey, general manager of delivery assurance for Return Path. “By adding more focused analysis to those basic monitoring tools, we have been able to lift client delivery rates by 30 percent.”
Beta tested by its top tier clients, Return Path’s new solutions include: Complaint Analyzer, Delivery Log Analyzer and Mail Infrastructure Analyzer. These are in addition to Return Path’s existing tools, Blacklist Alert, Mailbox Monitor and Spam Filter Monitor.
Complaint Analyzer: Seventy percent of delivery problems faced by Return Path clients are tied to subscriber complaints. Complaint Analyzer provides an overview of complaint rates, by complaint source, and identifies which elements of an email program are driving them, whether related to the data source, content or subject line. With this knowledge, clients can reduce complaint rates, leading directly to better deliverability at top ISPs like AOL and Yahoo.
Delivery Log Analyzer: Using an intensive diagnostic of SMTP delivery logs, this tool shows mailers the details of blocking , filtering, blacklisting, and unknown user rates at more than 1,000 domains, customized to match each mailer’s database distribution.
Mail Infrastructure Analyzer: Many ISPs and email filters look closely at the e-mail infrastructures sending them email for telltale signs that the sender is a spammer. This tool views senders’ infrastructures as the ISPs do, providing specific feedback on what configuration changes need to be made to maximize email delivery success.
