HSN’s head of online marketing promoted to cross-channel role

Scott Sanborn, formerly vice president of online marketing for HSN.com, has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing for HSN, the company has announced. Sanborn makes the switch from HSN marketing, where he has overseen efforts to unify HSN’s marketing message across all channels and to develop online and offline marketing programs for HSN since April.

“His intellect, broad scope and lively imagination have proven to be of great advantage during the creation of our online marketing program and we look forward to even greater achievements from Scott in his new role,” says Marty Nealon, president of HSN – U.S. “Scott’s strategic vision and vast marketing experience, coupled with a creative mind and unbridled passion for the business will be invaluable as HSN continues to lead the evolution of electronic retail.”

In his new role, Sanborn will oversee creative services, CRM and brand marketing in addition to his current responsibilities of managing TV creative public relations, strategy alliances and credit card marketing. Prior to joining HSN in 2002, Sanborn was vice president of account services for Agency.com.

HSN, with shopping platforms across television, the Internet and catalogs, is an operating business unit of IAC/InterActiveCorp.
