Fox Store was the fastest moving web site last week, Hitwise reports

FoxStore.com, retailer of videos and games, was the fastest growing retail web site in market share of U.S. visits for the week ending Oct. 1 compared to the previous, week, according to Hitwise. FoxStore.com posted a 2,863% jump in market share, rising to the rank of 822 from the rank of 24,847 the previous week.

Shop.mms.com, the M&M’s brand store, had the second largest increase in market share—448%, with the rank of 2,154, up from 11,967 the previous week; followed by HistoryBookClub.com (up 186%); instorespecials.staples.com (up 169%); dvd-movies.columbiahouse.com, (up 167%); wards.com (up 137%); Helzberg.com (122%); TicketsPlus.com (up 112%); SwissColony.com (94%); and biglots.inserts2online.com (up 89%).

Hitwise based its rankings on market share of U.S. visits to retail web sites, excluding the shopping and classified-rewards and directories category.
