
With 46% unique visitor growth, Circuit City tops electronics e-retailers
Circuit City Stores Inc., which is refining its web strategy, roared to No. 1 spot among computers & consumer electronics retail webs in May, based on unique visitors, nosing out perennial leader Best Buy Co. Inc., according to Nielsen/NetRatings audience measurement figures. Circuit City’s unique visitors grew 46% from May 2006 to 10.99 million while Best Buy’s slipped 1% to 10.94 million, Nielsen/NetRatings reports.
The top 10 computers & consumer electronics retail web sites in May, with total audience in unique visitors this year and last, and growth over last year, were:
