Interwoven President and CEO John Van Siclen Resigns; Chairman Martin Brauns to Serve as Interim CEO

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -April 2, 2003- Interwoven, Inc, (Nasdaq: IWOV), a world leader in content management for the enterprise, today announced that John Van Siclen has resigned as president and CEO. Martin Brauns, Interwoven`s Chairman, who served as its CEO from 1998 to 2002, will serve as interim Chief Executive Officer until a permanent successor is named. Interwoven has begun a search for a new CEO. Separately, the company today also announced preliminary financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2003.
