Assurz secures business development, relationship management veterans
Independent satisfaction guarantees provider Assurz Inc. has hired Kim Lee and Michael Cruz as vice president of business development and manager of relationship management, respectively. They bring more than 25 years of payment and e-commerce experience. Assurz provides product guarantee services to online retailers’ customers.
Lee has worked with some of the largest web retailers and is expected to build Assurz’ relationships with medium to large merchants. She most recently worked for The Royal Bank of Scotland in its international merchant processing division. Previously, she worked for Chase Paymentech Solutions.
Cruz will manage the day-to-day account services needs of the company’s merchant customers from service implementation to post-launch support. Prior to joining Assurz, he spent three years at Digital Financial Group, a credit card transaction processing company, where he was director of business development. Cruz previously served as director of product development for Inovant, a technology subsidiary of Visa International. Additionally, he held senior project management, relationship management and implementation positions at Trintech and Visa USA.
