Software provider RightNow Technologies promotes two executives
RightNow Technologies, a provider of web-based customer relationship management software, has promoted Susan Carstensen from chief financial officer to chief operating officer. Cartensen’s former position will be filled by Jeff Davison, who has been vice president of finance and operations.

Carstensen joined the Bozeman, MT-based company as chief financial officer in 1999 when its annual revenue was $2 million, helped guide its IPO in 2004 and participated in its growth to a firm with 2007 revenue of $112 million. She previously was chief financial officer at Powerhouse Technologies.
Davison joined RightNow in 1999 as controller, was promoted to vice president of sales operations a year later and became vice president of finances and operations in 2006.
