Online sales up 33% week ending Nov. 7 vs. year ago, comScore reports
Online retail sales were up 33% to $1.35 billion for the week ending Nov. 7 from $1 billion in the corresponding week a year ago, reports comScore Networks Inc. Total retail spending for the week ending Nov. 6 was down 3.3% from the corresponding week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.
Online travel spending for the week ending Nov. 7 reached $1.07 billion, up 60% from $671 million in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore reports.
In the first four weeks of the fourth quarter, online spending was up 34% from Q4 last year, reaching $6.7 billion from $5 billion, according to comScore numbers.
