Sears offers post-Thanksgiving deals a day early on the web
Some retailers are hoping to grab early Christmas shoppers by being open on Thanksgiving. Sears is hoping to grab them by offering in-store specials a day early on the web.
Thanksgiving day shoppers at Sears.com will have access to all the store deals, with the option of picking their purchases up at a Sears store or having them delivered.
"Sears recognizes how critical the web has become in holiday shopping and how much our customers value great gifts at great prices," says Bill Bass, vice president and general manager of Sears Customer Direct. "We are doing everything we can to lead in the delivery of convenience and quality to our online customers."
Sears is sending e-mail announcements today alerting customers to the Thanksgiving day online values. It’s also offering free shipping on most items under 70 lbs. purchased before Dec. 21.
