Online spending up 9% for week ending Nov. 14


Online retail spending for the week ending Nov. 16 was up 9% to $1.35 billion from $1.24 billion in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.

Total retail sales increased 0.9% the week ending Nov. 13 over the corresponding week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.

Online travel spending the week ending Nov. 14 was up 8% over the year-ago week, reaching $929 million from $857 million.
