Software Leader Welcomes Back its former Chief Financial Officer
DELRAY BEACH, FL (May 4, 2005) – Ecometry Corporation, the premier supplier of software solutions to the multi-channel direct commerce industry, has announced that its former Chief Financial Officer, Martin K.
Weinbaum has rejoined the company. In his capacity as CFO, Weinbaum will again lead Ecometry’s finance
and accounting teams.
Ecometry President and CEO, John Marrah, stated, “It is with great pleasure that I welcome back Marty Weinbaum as Ecometry’s Chief Financial Officer. Marty was Ecometry’s CFO for seven plus years and helped guide the company through an initial public offering and later as we went private. I can think of no one better suited to help Ecometry grow and watch our bottom line as we go through this year of record sales, product expansion and acquisitions.” He added, “Marty has my complete confidence.”
Weinbaum joined Ecometry Corporation as the company’s controller in 1995 and was appointed Secretary and Treasurer in 1996. He was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer in 1997 and was instrumental in taking the company public in January 1999. When the decision was made by the company’s founders in May 2002 to repurchase Ecometry and return it to the private sector, Weinbaum guided the transaction, after which he left Ecometry to pursue other interests.
Prior to joining Ecometry in 1995, Weinbaum served as controller of MediBar Medical Industries, a diagnostic medical service provider in Boca Raton, Florida, where he was responsible for financial reporting and SEC reporting and compliance. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Interactive Technologies Company, a pet food wholesaler, and as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Aspen Marine Group / Hawk Marine Power, a high performance engine and boat manufacturer.
Weinbaum is a certified public accountant, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has prior tenure with the public accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
A graduate of Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y., Weinbaum resides in Boynton Beach, Florida, with his wife and three children.
