Joint solution allows publishers to monetize their media assets

Irvine, CA and Atlanta, GA - May 11, 2005 - VitalStream, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VSTH), a streaming media solutions and global content delivery provider and EyeWonder, Inc., the leader in online video advertising solutions, today announced the launch of video advertising supported versions of VitalStream`s MediaConsole(r). VitalStream`s MediaConsole videos on demand (VOD) solutions are already in use by many Fortune 500 clients across the Web. The partnership will enable existing and new MediaConsole clients to easily and efficiently monetize online video content through the implementation of in-stream advertising campaigns powered by EyeWonder.

The VitalStream / EyeWonder solution is already in use at one of online advertising industry`s top resource sites, iMediaConnection. Its new video portal, called iMedia Insight, resides on its homepage at www.imediaconnection.com, and features an interactive video play list and 15-second video ad placements. In-stream advertising represents a large part of the projected growth for the online video ad industry. A February 2005 report from the Online Publisher`s Association (OPA) reveals that online video poses an increasingly rich opportunity for both interactive advertisers and publishers. This study found that 27 percent of respondents watch online video at least once a week and five percent watch it on a daily basis. Of the 70 percent of respondents who said they had seen a video advertisement online, nearly 45 percent said they had taken positive direct response action as a result of seeing that ad.
