Online spending up 21% in week before Thanksgiving, comScore reports
Online retail spending for the week ending Nov. 21 was up 21% to $1.79 billion from $1.47 billion in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.
Total retail sales increased 2.1% the week ending Nov. 20 over the corresponding week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.
Online travel spending the week ending Nov. 21 was up 37% over the year-ago week, reaching $956 million from $700 million, comScore reports.
