HighJump Software buys Pinnacle to expand web-based supply chain technology

HighJump Software, a provider of web-based supply chain technology to retailers, can now also offer an on-demand transportation management system through its acquisition of Pinncale Distribution Concepts Inc. Terms were not disclosed.

The addition of Pinnacle expands HighJump`s presence in the transportation market and will help customers minimize shipping costs while improving customer service, HighJump said. It said FreightLogic will become an integral component within the HighJump Supply Chain Advantage suite, which features integrated software applications that manage supply chain operations from the source of materials through final delivery.
