Newgistics names Janet Mitchell vice president of marketing
Austin, TX-based Newgistics Inc., provider of returns management services for retailers, has appointed Janet M. Mitchell as vice president of marketing. Her initial duties will be to guide the launch of Newgistics’ ReturnValet service.
Before joining Newgistics, Mitchell founded The Mitchell Group, a strategic marketing firm in Austin, TX, and worked with several start-up operations including SmartPrice.com and Living.com, responsible for marketing strategy, brand development and new product launches. Mitchell is also former vice president of marketing for Duracell, North America.
