RADIO BEACON WMS to integrate with SCI`s TraxWare RFID software products
Toronto, ON January 26, 2004 -- Radio Beacon Inc., a developer of warehouse management software and System Concepts, Inc (SCI), a leading software solution provider for the $1.3 billion RFID industry, today announced its plans to integrate the RADIO BEACON WMS with SCI`s TraxWare(TM) RFID software products. This partnership will allow Radio Beacon to integrate its warehouse management software with customers that are leveraging RFID technology in their warehouse.
TraxWare enables Radio Beacon resellers to deploy EPC-compliant RFID solutions, using off-the-shelf hardware from the major RFID manufacturers, without custom software development. TraxWare RFID products reduce risks of operational problems in RFID deployments with easy-to-configure modules and RFID diagnostic tools. The SCI vendor and VAR network will provide regional installation and support for Radio Beacon resellers.
TraxWare is a modular software solution that enables RFID operations between RADIO BEACON warehouse management software and the RFID readers residing at a company`s network edge. The architecture is designed for maximum compatibility and interoperability across most RFID tags and readers.

Specifically, Radio Beacon is integrating:
PackTrax(TM): the TraxWare ControlPoint that enables EPC-compliant pick, pack and smart label solutions. PackTrax is based on Web Services and Microsoft`s .NET architecture, and features EPC compliance, RFID data collection and filtering; enables reader intelligence and control; provides interfaces for third-party enterprise systems; performs RFID system analytics, performance, and diagnostics as well as RFID asset management and RFID system administration.
PackBot(TM): this TraxWare EdgeBot enables EPC-compliant portal or portable smart label solutions that manage RFID data collection, filtering, tag reading and writing, and label printing.
