Company Signed Seven Customer Deals and One Channel Partnership in First
Six Months Competing in Sector
New York, NY, June 16, 2003 --- DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq: DCLK), the leading
provider of marketing tools for advertisers, direct marketers and web
publishers, today announced that it signed seven marketing automation
customers and a strategic partnership during the first six months since its
acquisition of Protagona in November 2002. The seven Ensemble customers
include a mix of traditional offline businesses as well as Internet
businesses, many of which are existing customers of other DoubleClick
marketing technology products.
DoubleClick Ensemble is a leading marketing automation software suite that
empowers marketers to rapidly design and execute more effective campaigns
with enhanced customer intelligence, multi-channel integration and
consistent customer communication across the marketing lifecycle.
Working with Fiserv CCS, the leading provider of information and
relationship management services for the financial industry, DoubleClick
signed a national, independent financial services institution, which does
business with approximately 1.1 million consumers and 90,000 businesses
nationwide. This institution will use Ensemble to manage its customer
acquisition programs across multiple channels.

DoubleClick also signed two deals with Acxiom Corporation, the premier
provider of customer and information management solutions. These deals
include a leading provider of consumer loans, credit cards, auto financing
and credit insurance, and one of the nation`s largest issuers of private
label and general-purpose credit cards, which will use Ensemble to manage
its customer communication and it credit card acquisition direct mail and
telemarketing activity. In addition, OnStar, a wholly owned subsidiary of
General Motors Corp., and the nation`s leading provider of in-vehicle
safety, security and information services, will use Ensemble to manage its
customer retention and upsell programs.
In addition, DoubleClick signed deals with two existing customers of other
DoubleClick marketing technology products including Lycos, which also uses
DoubleClick`s DART for Publishers and DARTmail tools. Lycos will use
DoubleClick Ensemble business analysis and data discovery tools to more
efficiently market its products to users and to encourage the migration from
free to paid content and services. The new marketing automation platform
will enable Lycos to effectively tie together online and offline marketing
efforts in real time and to test entire pages of Web content with
prospective users and evaluate their customer impact.

During the first Quarter of 2003, DoubleClick also signed a partnership deal
with BeNOW, a CRM technology and strategy services company which implements
and hosts marketing database solutions on behalf mid-market companies.
BeNOW is offering DoubleClick`s Ensemble campaign management software as the
featured and pre-integrated end user access tool for its industry focused
solutions.
DoubleClick Ensemble is used by companies such as Sprint, Royal Caribbean,
Elder Beerman and Lending Tree/USA Interactive, to rapidly design and
execute more effective marketing campaigns.
