About.com Does An About Face With Its E-Commerce Site

About.com, A leading network of niche, vertical sites, today announced an online shopping partnership with ShopNow.com Inc., a leading direct marketing and electronic commerce company. The agreement calls for ShopNow.com to build and maintain a co-branded shopping destination on the About.com Shopping Channel (http://about.shopping.com).
     About.com's users will have access to most of ShopNow.com's 29,000 merchants. ShopNow.com will have access to About.com's network of 7.2 million unique users. Financial terms include a multi-year, multimillion-dollar payment to About.com.
