Supply chain provider Inovis names Sean Feeney as president and CEO
Sean E. Feeney has been named president and CEO of Inovis. Feeney was most recently executive vice president of CheckFree Corp., a provider of financial electronic commerce services and products, and was responsible for the integration of CheckFree’s acquisitions in its electronic commerce and software divisions. Prior to that, Feeney was chief operating officer of Clarus Corp., an Atlanta-based e-procurement software company.
Feeney succeeds Jim Schaper as CEO. Schaper will continue as chairman of the Inovis’ board of directors. "As we position the company for the next phase of growth, Sean’s experience growing companies will bring Inovis to the next level and help us to further increase the company’s leadership position in business-to-business solutions and services,” Schaper said.
The company reported that Ilaria Derr, who has served as Inovis’ president and COO, will leave the company at the end of January. “Ilaria had an integral role in the successful acquisition of QRS as well as building Inovis’ processes to fuel the company’s future growth. We thank Ilaria for her contributions to Inovis over the past year and half, and wish her well in the next phase of her career,” Schaper said.
Inovis provides business-to-business systems for global trading relationships, including systems for managing transaction flow, data synchronization and supply chain processes. It serves more than 20,000 customers and their trading partners.
