Consumers now can buy items that appear on TV shows or in commercials from their TiVo digital video recorders. Amazon.com will fulfill the orders. Amazon and TiVo have been working together for 18 months, selling digital content to TiVo viewers.

CVS sees new web features as the Rx for bigger sales

First quarter fiscal 2009 sales at PetMed Express rose 16% to $68.4 million, up from $59 million a year earlier. Web sales accounted for 64%, or about $43.8 million, about the same percentage as they did for fiscal 2008.
