Buy.com revamps web site to include price alerts
After a tumultuous year in which Alisa Viejo, CA-based Buy.com was taken private and bought back by its founder Scott Blum following financial trouble, Buy.com is starting out 2002 with a new look. The company revamped its web site, adding a new Price Alert tool and other navigation features to improve the online buying experience, the company says. New navigation functions also include brand and specific interest areas to help customers find items faster.
