CRS Retail Systems Adds Advanced Reporting Module to Focus Loss Prevention™ Application

Latest product release now provides retailers with both exception-based analysis and new ad hoc reporting capabilities

NEWBURGH, N.Y. - June 30, 2003 – CRS Retail Systems, Inc., leading provider of retail management software, hardware, and services to help retailers drive sales, improve customer service, and reduce operating costs, today announced the availability of Focus Loss Prevention™ Enhanced Reporting, a new module that provides ad hoc and other advanced reporting capabilities for retail loss prevention professionals.

Focus Loss Prevention (LP) provides specialty retailers with a powerful set of modules to reduce shrink in retail stores. Focus LP includes advanced query tools to help investigators quickly identify suspicious activity, drill down to transaction detail, and differentiate between fraudulent and innocent behavior. Configurable exception-based reporting allows LP professionals to configure and schedule key performance indicators that alert them when suspicious behavior has occurred. Case management functions of Focus LP allow investigators to build cases of evidence for eventual prosecution.

Focus Loss Prevention, including the new Enhanced Reporting module is deployed using a web-based interface, allowing field personnel to access reporting, analysis, and case management tools from the corporate office, from field offices, and from within retail stores.

The new Enhanced Reporting module of Focus LP adds ad hoc report writing and analysis to the application, enabling investigators or supporting IS departments to develop, customize, and schedule reports for end-users. Report results may be sorted, filtered, graphed, exported to other applications or formats, or further analyzed using advanced business intelligence functions.
