
Buy.com launches its own magazine to promote products
Buy.com has published the first of four Buy.com Magazine issues planned for 2002. Designed by Thinkbig Marketing Group, a division of the ThinkTank marketing company launched in 1999 by Buy.com founder Scott Blum, the Buy.com Magazine is being sent to a circulation of 5 million customers. The magazine includes product listings of top name brand computers, wireless products, music, DVDs, digital cameras and PDAs, as well as editorial features on the latest technologies and the benefits of buying online. Magazine recipients will get free shipping for orders of $99 or more. Shoppers can register to receive the magazine at Buy.com.
Advertisers In the first issue include Visa, Cingular Wireless, Linksys and NEC-Mitsubishi.
