Albertson`s expands its online grocery service to Oregon
Albertson`s, Inc. loves home shopping for groceries. Hard on the heels of an expansion of Albertsons.com from San Diego to a major portion of the rest of Southern California, Albertson’s is expanding its offering in Oregon and Washington.
Albertson’s is offering delivery or store pick-up at 31 supermarkets in the four counties-- Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas in Oregon and Clark in Washington--that make up the Portland metropolitan area.
Albertson’s will charge $9.95 for delivery and $4.95 for pick up.

said Mike Clawson, vice president of Albertson`s Northwest Division.
"Albertsons.com has set the trend for brick-and-mortars to be able to offer an
online shopping solution to our customers. We are convinced we have the right
model and customer service to succeed in this market, meeting our customers`
high expectations for quality and service."
Albertsons.com has been operating in Seattle since November 1999, It expanded to San Diego last October and to the LA area in February.
Albertson`s has annual revenues of $37 billion and more than 2,400 retail stores in 33 states.
