Xaffire closes $3 million in funding, names new board member

Web performance monitoring company Xaffire Inc. has closed $3 million in funding from its long-time investor Mobius Venture Capital and named Wendy Lea to its board of directors. Lea, managing partner for The Chatham Group and former vice president of e-business consulting for Siebel Systems, is an expert in sales, marketing and multi-channel strategies. The company says it will use the funds to further develop its Xfire product and to expand its marketing.

"Xaffire is an innovative organization that is expanding what is possible in web application monitoring and management," said Brad Feld, managing director of Mobius Venture Capital. "Xfire solves a crucial business need that impacts Xaffire customers` profits."

Mobius Venture Capital has more than $2 billion under management and employs an investment team of former CEOs, entrepreneurs and senior technology executives.

Xfire provides state-of-the-art content capture, storage and instant replay capabilities for monitoring of web sessions.
