QRS Named a Provider of Data Synchronization for the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES)

QRS to Support Data Synchronization for General Merchandise and Apparel (GMA)

RICHMOND, Calif., July 9, 2003 - QRS Corporation (Nasdaq: QRSI) today announced that the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) will use QRS Catalogue(tm) as one of its third-party providers of data synchronization to centralize product data and help optimize internal business processes among its GMA trading partners.

QRS Catalogue allows suppliers to synchronize current, accurate product information on more than 90 million items with retailers in North America and Europe. QRS Catalogue will enhance supplier relationships for AAFES by improving order accuracy and reducing procurement cycle times, while simultaneously reducing order management administration costs. As a result, AAFES can reduce overall operating expenses and improve staff productivity by using QRS Catalogue with its GMA trading partners.

AAFES has been a QRS customer since 1995, using QRS Exchange(tm) to manage retail supply chain communication and collaboration with its trading partners. Whether through the Internet, or a value-added network (VAN), or as a managed service, QRS Exchange supports trading communities of any size, offering customers economies of scale and a rapid return on investment with easier network setup and lower maintenance costs.

"QRS provides collaborative commerce solutions that benefit both retailers and vendors," said Liz Fetter, President and CEO of QRS Corporation. "We are proud that our solutions help the AAFES meet the needs of American servicemen and servicewomen around the world."
