VerticalResponse Expands Self-Service Direct Marketing Solution With Launch of Direct Mail Postcard Service
Integration of New Service With iBuilder„§ Direct Email Provides Marketers And Catalogers With Centralized Control of Both Electronic And Postal Direct Mailings
San Francisco, CA -- July 7, 2003 -- VerticalResponse, Inc., a leading provider of self-service and customized direct marketing solutions, today announced its direct mail postcard service. Expanding upon its commitment to self-service solutions, VerticalResponse now allows customers to easily create, launch and control both traditional direct mail and direct email campaigns from within VerticalResponse iBuilder, the companyˇ¦s Web-based direct email product.
Among other uses, the new postcard service allows marketers and catalogers to pre-announce a product or catalog mailing, drive customers to online promotions or offer special discounts and promotions between catalog mailings. Users of the new service have the option of either choosing from VerticalResponse`s library of 650,000 high-resolution photographs or uploading their own images to create a customized postcard. Many various font types and colors are available and text can be inserted over any part of the image. One half of one side of the postcard, or up to 25 lines of copy, will be reserved for the user`s message. Postcards are then printed on 12-point stock, with 4-color artwork available as an additional option. After a user designates a distribution list, VerticalResponse prints and mails the postcards via first-class postage.
