Bozeman, MT (March 8, 2004) — RightNow® Technologies, the leading on-demand CRM company focused on customer service, today announced the availability of RightNow Locator 3.3—the latest version of its award-winning, hosted online store-finder solution that allows customers to automatically find both retail locations and product availability.

Available for wireless or desktop use, Locator 3.3 features dramatically enhanced XML support, allowing location-related information like availability of specific products or services to be dynamically updated in real time on the web from existing enterprise systems.

RightNow Locator 3.3 is a complete solution for directing web site visitors to retail locations, service centers, local dealers and regional offices, based on a wide range of attributes -- from geographic proximity to the customer and hours of operation to product availability and services offered on-site. It thus enables companies to increase revenue by directing online shoppers to select bricks-and-mortar sales and service locations. It also reduces call center costs by answering common questions about store locations automatically via the web.

Locator 3.3’s PDA support enables companies to provide store information, maps and driving directions to both desktop PCs and mobile devices. Locator also features both PSTN and VoIP-based “Click-to-Talk” functionality, which lets online customers automatically launch conversations with local in-store staff through PCs.

Other enhancements to Version 3.3 include broader support for mapping locations in Canada and the United Kingdom and conversion of Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates to traditional longitude/latitude positioning.

Locator also lets companies “weight” search selections to give preference to particular stores or dealers.

As a hosted solution, RightNow Locator 3.3 provides these various benefits without requiring companies to shoulder the total ownership costs of internally deployed software and hardware.
