Thomasville Furniture will offer zoom views online

Thomasville Furniture Industries Inc., a subsidiary of Furniture Brands International Inc., will present its furnishing and cabinets online in greater detail using ZoomView technology developed by Viewpoint Corp., the company said this week. The addition of ZoomView is part of Thomasville`s upgrade of its web site.

Thomasville will introduce the new technology on its Thomasville Cabinetry site, which showcases its collection of high quality, semi-custom cabinetry available exclusively through The Home Depot. Visitors can browse kitchen, bath, home office and home entertainment cabinetry styles, and use the zoom technology to see molding detail, wood grain, and accents such as glass doors and decorative hardware.

"Viewpoint`s technology allows us to use our digital images in a manner consistent with our other marketing efforts," said Leslie Morgan, e-business manager for Thomasville. "It`s easy to use, and our online consumers will have a significantly more productive browsing experience."
