Acquisitions Enable Unicru to Bring Selection Science and Emphasis on Workforce Quality to New Markets

Portland, Ore - August 4, 2003 - Unicru, Inc. today announced it has completed the separate acquisitions of Xperius, Inc. and Guru Worldwide to accelerate execution of its Workforce Selection and Optimization strategy. With these acquisitions, nine of the 100 largest US employers will be using Unicru`s technology to support their recruiting, staffing and hiring needs-more than any other vendor.

Building on the value Unicru provides customers today, the extension of its Workforce Selection and Optimization strategy will increase employee quality, retention and productivity across job roles throughout the enterprise.
