Golfballs.com announces ending figures

Showing no signs of stopping, Golfballs.com Chief Executive Officer Tom Cox recently announced a 24 percent increase in sales for the year ending December 2003. "December was our largest month in history, at over a half million dollars," said Cox.

December saw the company working 24/7 to keep up with the gift-giving season. A tremendous number of customers were not only buying the merchandise, but personalizing it as well, thanks to Golfballs.com state-of-the-art CTP (Computer To Press) laser printing system and embroidery machines. "Golf balls, caps, bags, even putters: you name it, we personalized it," said Cox. "Our low minimum order quantities and quick turn-around time on personalized merchandise was a big draw for the holidays. In fact, one-half of our business in December was customized or personalized products."

Cox credits some of his fourth quarter success to the alliance with Amazon.com, finalized in September of 2003. Golfballs.com is currently the only golf retailer on Amazon.com to offer personalization of its products.
