Nickelodeon opens two web storefronts


Viacom International Inc.’s Nickelodeon, the children’s brand which operates the number one cable TV network, is launching two online shops with Global-QVC Solutions, the companies announced today.

The sites--nick.com and nickjr.com--will feature branded merchandise from Nickelodeon’s TV shows. Nickelodeon also expects to use the sites to drive traffic into local stores. The site will include offers available only to online shoppers.

More than 85 million households receive Nickelodeon’s TV shows.

Global-QVC Solutions is an outsource provider of e-commerce services, including web site design and development, customer service, fulfillment, and merchandising for direct response marketers and online retail stores. Ir is a division of Global Sports Inc.
