Web sales continue their upward trend in the week before Easter

The number of online orders grew 23% during the week, reaching 7.25 million from 5.49 million last year. Average ticket grew 9% to $121.84 from $111.46.

Because Easter falls on a different date every year, BizRate compared this year’s week of March 25-31 with last year’s April 9-15.
